#One platform, many ways to use it

Truster is built so that the same platform handles invoicing, payroll and taxes. Once an invoice is paid, the information flows onward automatically: withholding tax is calculated from the tax card, YEL matters stay up to date, and insurance remains valid. Users don't need to know what happens behind the scenes, because one system takes care of the whole picture.

On top of that same platform, we've built several ways to use the service. Some people manage things via the mobile app, some through the browser on Platform, and others connect their own systems directly through the API. All of them rely on the same data, so information never stays siloed and never has to be entered more than once.

Over 55,000 people use Truster, generating a large volume of invoices, payments and payroll transactions every day. The platform has to withstand continuous use without interruption, so the technology is developed to meet that demand, not just for a marketing campaign.

#APIs and AI as part of the same whole

The API and the MCP server aren't separate add-ons — they're access to the same data Truster itself uses. When you build your own system on top of the Connect API, you get the same invoices, employees and payroll data you see in Truster Platform. The MCP server opens up that same data to AI, which can fetch employee details, check a tax card, or list open invoices straight from a conversation.

Webhooks keep your own system up to date. When an invoice is created or a payment is registered, the event is delivered automatically, so you never need to fetch data separately. This lets you build your own tools on top of Truster instead of copying data by hand from one system to another.

#Security and reliability

Invoices, salaries and personal data are sensitive. Truster is designed so that this information only travels where it's supposed to. Secure Mail is a good example of this thinking: when a message includes something like a payslip or a tax card, it's sent via sealed secure mail rather than regular email, which can pass through multiple servers in plain form on its way to the recipient.

The same care applies to the entire platform. Data is stored and processed with restricted access, and every action leaves a trace. When you build your own app or integration on top of the Truster API, you get the same security principles as Truster's own apps and Platform. Security isn't a separate feature — it's part of how the whole system is built.

Support is also part of that reliability. Customer service is available in Finnish and English, so technical questions get answered in your own language without middlemen — whether they're about the interface, the API, or Secure Mail.
