What do the numbers show?
Light entrepreneurs' invoicing activity is growing steadily: a total of 37,608 invoices were sent between April and June 2026, up 7.3% from the same period a year earlier. The median invoice held steady at €770, meaning a typical light entrepreneur gig is still invoiced somewhere between a few hundred and a thousand euros.
Seasonal variation is clear: the third quarter is the busiest of the year (Q3 2025: €63.4 million), as summer gigs, events and the construction industry generate the most invoicing. Early in the year is quietest.
How is the index calculated?
The index is calculated from aggregated invoicing data on the Truster platform: it includes invoices sent, paid and overdue in the Finnish market (drafts excluded). Figures are gross amounts. The data is fully anonymous: individual invoices, customers or invoicers cannot be identified. The index is published quarterly, and the verification date for each figure is shown on the page.

What is the Light Entrepreneurship Index?
A statistic published quarterly by Truster on the invoicing of Finnish light entrepreneurs: the number of invoices, the median invoice and total invoicing on the Truster platform. It is the only regularly published time series on light entrepreneur invoicing in Finland.
Can the index figures be quoted?

Does the index cover the entire Finnish light entrepreneur market?
No: the index reflects invoicing that flows through the Truster platform, not the whole market. The trends and medians still give a good picture of how the industry is developing, since the data covers tens of thousands of invoices every quarter.
